Our next event of 2013 will be held at the Manhattan Autodesk office space located at 38 West 21st Street on the 9th Floor, New York NY 10011. You must RSVP to attend and if you have not attended one of our 2012 events, you must also fill out our registration survey online prior to arriving.

Making Of The Autodesk Hyperspace Madness TriloBot
Kim Lee of Worlds Away Productions will be giving an in depth presentation on the creation of the Autodesk’s TriloBot sentry robot which made its debut at Collider 2013 in NYC. He will discuss the origins of the project through concept art to modeling in 3ds max to the extensive fabrication process employed using many DIY rapid prototyping tools like CNC routers, 3d printers and vacuum forming machines. Discussion will include a comparison between the digital pipelines for fabrication versus traditional rendered images. The practical (physical) Trilobot robot will be on hand for attendee viewing before being shipped to Autodesk.
